Dear Parents/Students,

Student orientation will be held on August 14 and August 15 at school cafeteria.
Student orientation is mandatory for all (new and returning) students. Two sessions (morning and afternoon) will be available for each day.

For Grades K - 4th
Date: Thursday, August 14
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (morning session)
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (afternoon session)

For Grades 5th - 8th
Date: Friday, August 15
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (morning session)
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (afternoon session)

At orientation you will be able to do the following:
- Obtain your child’s schedule/homeroom teacher
- Purchase uniforms (all grades)
- Receive your student/parent handbook
- Complete lunch forms and pre-payment

- Receive information regarding important safety and traffic procedures as well as important school documents
- Learn about and sign up for various clubs, activities, and programs offered here at the school.
- Learn about our PTO and sign up to participate in volunteering.
- Tour the school campus and learn where classes will be
- Meet the school administration
- Practice opening the locker combination locks
- And much more!

The following is IMPORTANT Information for new students!

A 30 min. presentation will be given at 10:00 AM for morning session and at 2:00 PM for afternoon session covering school rules and policies, dress code and dismissal procedures. We ask that new students and parents please attend the presentation during either the morning or afternoon session on your grade level scheduled day.

Orientation is the best way for you to prepare for the following year!


2014-2015 SCHOOL SUPPLIES and PE UNIFORMS

We would like to announce the School Supply sale. This year the PTO will take orders for school supplies for all grades. Please see the front office for the form or go online to www.epipacks.com. Our school ID is SCH363. All supply packs will be delivered at Orientation in August. Order forms can be turned in through the end of school. You may bring them to the office during summer school until June 15th.

Another things we are offering is PE Uniforms with mesh PE bags. The set which includes shirt, shorts, and mesh bag will be $25. They will have a small SST Athletics logo on them and will be available at Orientation.
