MATHLETICS 2016-17

MATHLETICS 2016-17
Mathletics is a math club that offers fun and engaging programs that get middle school students excited about math. Students study Pre-Algebra, Number Theory, Counting and Probability, Algebra-1 and Geometry. We try to participate all local competitions in San Antonio area and advance to State level competitions. We advanced to State level for every competition we participated this year. Mathletics offers educationally enriching opportunity to participate in an academically-oriented activity and to gain recognition for mathematical achievement. We promote enjoyment and study of mathematics by participating competitions. Our program helps to enrich mathematics program and prepares students for advance level of math.

They had three hours study time with character education time. Mr. Shepherd shared a story with students during character education time. Then they played hockey, basketball, play station, and volleyball. All CRLP students and mentors had an excellent time. Thanks to all CRLP mentors, students, and parents.
