This process is for our current students who wish to return to school for 2017-18 school year!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The re-enrollment period starts on Tuesday December 6th and will end on Friday, January 13, 2017. Your child will be bringing home a letter with instructions on how to complete this important process.

2017 - 2018 Enrollment Period Begins!

PROSPECTIVE Parents & Students !!!

Our enrollment period for the 2017-2018 school year has begun.

To apply, you can fill out the online application using the APPLY ONLINE link located on the school's website. Application forms are available at the school's front office and here to download for paper application.

Any application received prior to November 1st will be in the waiting list for this school year, not for the 2017-2018 school year.

Please note that any application received is only considered for one school year. If your child is not selected for enrollment, a new application must be submitted for each year.

Deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 10th, 2017.

Parents can attend an Open House or a school tour to learn more about our programs.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR

Dear Parents and Students,
Each year we have a school-wide Science Fair at SST.
This year our 8th Annual Science Fair is going to be on Friday, December 9th, 2016.

All students in 6th-8th grades are required to prepare a Science Fair Project. The science fair committee cordially extends an invitation to you to meet with the student scientists and discuss their projects during our annual science fair!

Science Fair Schedule on Friday, December 9th
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Brunch for Judges
9:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Judges Briefing
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Judging
1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Ranking, Tie breakers
1:30 p.m. 2:40 p.m.: Student and Public viewing of projects
2:40 p.m. - 2:55 p.m.: Awards ceremony

PARENT CONNECT

SST Academic team has prepared a resource site called Parent Connect to provide information on the concepts taught for each subject during each grading period, a list of resources for the course including online access for some materials, as well as other online resources that can enhance your child`s learning at home.


We hope that the site will be helpful to you as you support your child`s academic growth. We encourage you to talk with your child`s teacher and campus admin if you have any questions.

JOIN the PVC

Parent Volunteer Committee (PVC) meeting
on Friday, January 6th



The purpose of the PVC is to support SST-Alamo`s students, teachers and administrators. Parent volunteers provide services including but not limited to: serving on the Campus Improvement Council, assisting with the community outreach, supporting the academic rallies, and providing help whenever the need arises.



PVC meets the first Friday of every month at 8:20am for about an hour.

Upcoming meeting dates for 2016-17 SY:
January 6th, February 3rd, March 3rd, April 7th, and May 5th.
